Having played Gypsy Jazz guitar extensively both Craig Sharmat and Neil Andersson thought what might they be able to do that had not been done before using Gypsy Jazz guitars. Because Craig also had an extensive background as a string arranger it seemed natural to create an album which merged Gypsy Jazz guitar playing with lush strings to create a new sound.
