Dorsey (Michael Jackson) is the Producer and Vocal Producer on the new single, bringing out the lush harmonies and placement in this track. Not cutting any corners, Aysha has some of the best in the business for mixing and mastering, bringing in David Rideau for final mix and then mastering by Lurssen Mastering.
TOM BRAXTON
Tom and Bob James take it "south of the border" and have some fun on "Nuevo!," a bossa-tinged party for piano and tenor. Braxton adds, "When I started composing this song from some earlier ideas, I was hoping that Bob would join me, and he graciously did! His piano was superb as usual!" Tom is showcased on tenor saxophones as well as flute. Braxton also served as producer and arranger with production assistance from the "Drummer to the stars," the late Ricky Lawson.

“Finesse” was the first track recorded for the album, yet the song had to go through a process of evolution. Brown explains, “I noticed a problem with the song’s chorus. I decided to try an alternative melody, and it seems to work perfectly. So, when you hear the track, if you listen to the lead melody on the big body guitar, that’s the new melody and if you listen in the background, there’s another melody that is played with my Stratocaster-style guitar that is more like a picking style playing the original melody. They work together perfectly.”

Silk and Suede is the sexy and sophisticated new tune from bassist Blair Bryant. Setting a moody atmosphere like cigar smoke hanging heavy in a room, this bass line gets in your soul. With spiffy horn lines from Donald Hayes smooth as cognac by the fire at your favorite speakeasy, this tune is a burning vibe. Blair is is bringing the rough and smooth just like silk and suede.

"Dry Boulevard” is a tight, groove-driven smooth-jazz track with a subtly dusty, late-night mood. Built around Alex Crown’s expressive guitar work, the song blends neo-soul and modern R&B textures with Jonathan Fritzén’s electric-piano lines and Jonas Lindberg’s bass groove. A dynamic, intimate, and quietly hypnotic piece.
